The First Week Back

and I don't believe I have ever had such unorganized teachers! Golly. If you took the 5 most unorganized teachers on campus, and put them in one student's schedule, that would be mine. One week into classes and teachers are still telling us we need to buy more books and (this one gets to me the most) that even though you signed up for class from 12:45-2:45, you can't come at that time. You have to take time out of your already busy schedule to make time for this class that is supposed to be two hours in the middle of the day otherwise.....GRRR!!!

OK.

Now that that frustration is out, school is a bugger. Don't get me wrong, its good to learn new things, but it's a lot of work too.

Cool news. So we had this Jamba Card selling competition this winter and I got second place (the not so cool news is that i was in first place for most of the time and then got passed... :|) and i didn't find out till yesterday that i won an ipod nano!

SWEET!!

I'm excited about it. I wanted one ever since they came out..it has a FM radio that i can use when i work out, if they ever show anything other than ESPN, CNN, or FOX News.

Because every husband should know.

Instead of doing homework, I thought I'd blog instead. I got this idea from a friend's blog and wanted to do it for mine. I never tell Brennen enough how much I love him, so I thought this would be a good way to do it!

I LOVE BRENNEN BECAUSE:

1. he's so hardworking, he can hardly see straight.

2. he lets me do the decorating

5. randomly he'll say "you're welcome"

7. he lets me play the x box with him

11. when he laughs really hard it comes out "hee hee hee"

12. he's my best friend

13. he makes me want to be a better person.

15.He wants to get out of Rexburg as much as i do.

16. He wants to be a dad.

17. he asks me for help

20. he takes me on trips

21. he doesn't get upset when my ring breaks

22. He gets along with my family

23. he's a loyal friend

It's that time of year again....

SCHOOL TIME. :(

We sure have enjoyed having a little break {5 months} but

it's time to get back into the swing of things..

THIS SEMESTER::

lots and lots of fun times!

Brennen's taking 3 classes, totaling 14 credits.. YiKES!

Abnormal Psychology, Biochemistry, and EMT Basics.

It's going to be a busy year for him.

ME on the other hand:

Early Field Experince, Lit. 1, Motivation & Management,

Education Psychology, Childrens Lit, and... [breath]

Math.

And working part-time at Le Jamba Juice.

Brennen took the GRE Monday. but didn't get the score he wanted

:(

But i believe he can do anything he puts his mind to. So that means

Retaking the Test.

He's not sure he's up for it, but i believe he can do it.

He is my hero, my best friend, the person I love more than anything.

I love him. :)

New Years Resolutions

Alright, Happy New Year's everyone! I honestly don't get the point of this holiday, but hey. I get tomorrow off, so I guess it's ok. As tradition goes, it's time to make some new resolutions for the upcoming year, you know: goals that are supposed to keep you busy during the year and by the end you're supposed to be a better person. 365 days of improvement. Well, i'm not one for long term goals, really. I get sidetracked easily, but I'll play the game.

Exercise regularly

Be a better wife

Get straight A's in school

Get to the temple twice a month

Try out at least 20 new recipes for dinner

I think that's enough for now..We'll see how this goes.

We took a trip to Salt Lake and got some pictures there too..

Brennen and I went camping with the bears..We have some serious thrill issues..

This summer I discovered that I love fishing, especially with my honey! Mine is the biggest on top. True story!

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is make milkshakes. Especially during huckleberry season. Brennen tried to make one without the lid to the blender on.

Christmas in Chicago!!

Hello everybody!! Greetings from Chicago! We decied to spend Christmas in Chicago this year, with Brennen's family. Mom, Dad, and Meaghan arrived on the 22nd and Brennen and I flew in last night. We were up til 2 getting everything ready for the kids and watching a movie..Man was I tired! Traveling and little sleep gave me a killer headache and upset my stomach. That along with the stress and anxiety that I get from being in busy places with no one I know, needless to say, I was a Grinch! But today's been better.

Seeing the kid's faces as they opened their presents was priceless! There was laughter, smiles, and paper flying everywhere! Some fun gifts and some sentimental ones. 'Tis the season! And I got a new (aka my very first) camera! So hopefully we'll be getting a lot of pictures up here soon!! Well, Merry Christmas everybody!! With Love, The Larsens

Stockings, Snow, and Santa Clause

Well hey there all! It's been a while, but now I'm like on this blogger hype..thinking if I can figure this stuff out, it could actually be fun. And I guess that since I'm starting school soon, I'll have the internet more, and I can just blog during class.. :) hehe. Nah, I would never really do that unless my class was really boring, like history or something. Enough about that. Life. What is going on? We've moved from the old house to a little apartment in Wagonwheel goverment subsidized housing, which totally rocks. (pics to come soon, hopefully) I would recommend it to anyone who is just starting out or is having trouble keeping up with rent. We're also getting lots of FAFSA this year. Gotta milk the government for all they're worth now since they'll probably screw us in the future with healthcare.

This Christmas we're going to spend in Chicago. It'll be the first Christmas away from home for me, we'll see how it goes. We're flying out on Christmas Eve, and will be back on the 27th or 28th. I think we'll have Christmas with my family on the 23rd. Ah, Christmas. Isn't it just a wonderful time? :)
