New Years Resolutions

Alright, Happy New Year's everyone! I honestly don't get the point of this holiday, but hey. I get tomorrow off, so I guess it's ok. As tradition goes, it's time to make some new resolutions for the upcoming year, you know: goals that are supposed to keep you busy during the year and by the end you're supposed to be a better person. 365 days of improvement. Well, i'm not one for long term goals, really. I get sidetracked easily, but I'll play the game.

Exercise regularly

Be a better wife

Get straight A's in school

Get to the temple twice a month

Try out at least 20 new recipes for dinner

I think that's enough for now..We'll see how this goes.

This summer I discovered that I love fishing, especially with my honey! Mine is the biggest on top. True story!

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is make milkshakes. Especially during huckleberry season. Brennen tried to make one without the lid to the blender on.

Christmas in Chicago!!

Hello everybody!! Greetings from Chicago! We decied to spend Christmas in Chicago this year, with Brennen's family. Mom, Dad, and Meaghan arrived on the 22nd and Brennen and I flew in last night. We were up til 2 getting everything ready for the kids and watching a movie..Man was I tired! Traveling and little sleep gave me a killer headache and upset my stomach. That along with the stress and anxiety that I get from being in busy places with no one I know, needless to say, I was a Grinch! But today's been better.

Seeing the kid's faces as they opened their presents was priceless! There was laughter, smiles, and paper flying everywhere! Some fun gifts and some sentimental ones. 'Tis the season! And I got a new (aka my very first) camera! So hopefully we'll be getting a lot of pictures up here soon!! Well, Merry Christmas everybody!! With Love, The Larsens

Stockings, Snow, and Santa Clause

Well hey there all! It's been a while, but now I'm like on this blogger hype..thinking if I can figure this stuff out, it could actually be fun. And I guess that since I'm starting school soon, I'll have the internet more, and I can just blog during class.. :) hehe. Nah, I would never really do that unless my class was really boring, like history or something. Enough about that. Life. What is going on? We've moved from the old house to a little apartment in Wagonwheel goverment subsidized housing, which totally rocks. (pics to come soon, hopefully) I would recommend it to anyone who is just starting out or is having trouble keeping up with rent. We're also getting lots of FAFSA this year. Gotta milk the government for all they're worth now since they'll probably screw us in the future with healthcare.

This Christmas we're going to spend in Chicago. It'll be the first Christmas away from home for me, we'll see how it goes. We're flying out on Christmas Eve, and will be back on the 27th or 28th. I think we'll have Christmas with my family on the 23rd. Ah, Christmas. Isn't it just a wonderful time? :)

School, Wedding, Bliss, and more!

Hey all! So, it's been a few months since i've blogged last..i guess i'm just not much of a blogger. Well here's all that's been happening: Brennen and I got married in the Idaho Falls, ID temple on April 16, 2010. The weather was fantastic and it was so fun. We moved into an old house owned by Brennen's family and hope to be living there for a while until we can get into subsidized housing later on this year. We love our ward too. I'm still working at Jamba, although I transferred to the one up here in Rexburg. We are just finishing up our summer semester at BYUI and then we are off till January. Well, haha, not much more is going on..so farewell for now!

Hello, all!! It's been quite a while since i have been on to tell you all about my boring life, but FINALLYY!! some excitement!! I have been dating Brennen Larsen for 6 months and on Dec 19th, he finally proposed to me!! YAY!! We are planning on getting married in the Idaho Falls Temple on April 16th 2010! Wedding plans are coming along nicely..we both started school a week ago and are somewhat nervous for the clash of planning and classes, but we'll survive! All of the important stuff is good to go! I have my dress, the colors, reception center and Temple all ready, so everything else is just minor! This week and next we're going to work on getting all our engagement pictures done and hopefully start on choosing and even ordering our announcements! I'll keep ya posted!

Alright!! It's August!! So here's all that's been going on lately...nothing too interesting. Still working my behind off at Jamba Juice. Got out of school about three weeks ago and me and Brennen are still dating, going on 6 weeks now. But things are looking bleak to me...we've got some issues we've got to work through...well something that doesn't come around very often...i'm going to Utah next week! I'm excited to get out of Idaho. Goin down for three days with Nycole to help her and Ashlyn move and then for Colie's birthday. Well that's it for this last month. I wish my life was more interesting...bye for now.
