Mostly i just want to tell you about this : Time wasting.
I am a time waster. Some people are addicted to crafting. Some are addicted to food. Some are addicted to spending money. I am addicted to wasting time. Here are my top 5 favorite time wasting activities (in no particular order of favoritism)
1. Facebook--i don't even know why. Facebook is so boring now.
2. Blog Stalking--"you might also like..." Click. Click. Click click click....
3.Television--I don't even like some of the shows I watch.
4. Showers--that hot water is just so dang relaxing!
5. Doing hair/makeup--i don't know why this takes so much time, it just does!
One Saturday a few weeks back, I made myself a little schedule for the day because there was just so much that i had to get done. So basically I listed everything that i needed to get done that day, and gave myself an hour or so to do each task. I staggered the housework and homework, so i wouldn't get burnt out doing stuff. I got myself really excited to follow my schedule, and i set like 20 alarms on my phone and set to it. And let me tell you, I got more accomplished in that day that i think i ever have. Well, here I am a couple weeks later and I'm in the same boat. Loads of homework and loads of housework. I decided i needed a plan of action. [1] Utilize the planner. I bought a more expensive one this year because it was "cute." Let's put it to good use, eh? My next two days' sanity depend on it. [2] Schedule time to do things. As you can see, i've tried to start doing this. I'll let you know how it goes. [3] Use timers. I've been doing this for a while with my showers, and it seems to sometimes work. I noticed that I had been taking 15ish minute showers, and i totally knew that i could get all that done in 5 mins. So i put a timer outside the shower and stick 5 minutes on it. Helps me hurry when i know how much time i have left. I want to start using timers for everything. We'll see how it works. Do you have any ideas or suggestions for better time management? Please let me know, I'm open to try just about anything! Thanks for listening to me ramble! :)

There are days I'm totally the same way. I LOVE taking long showers so most of mine are 10-15 minutes, I should start doing the timer thing. I feel like if I wasn't on my laptop so much I could actually get stuff accomplished...where am I now? yes, but hopefully I'll be off soon. Anyway, what helps me is making a detailed list of everything that I need to do. Instead of just writing "clean the kitchen" I write "clean counters", "do dishes", "clean microwave", etc. For some reason when I get to cross more things off my list it helps me stay motivated to keep going.
